When it comes to family-friendly things to do in Falmouth, Cape Cod Children's Museum is one of the best options. The museum has both indoor and outdoor activities for kids that encourage learning, but also having fun! Summer hours are Mon - Fri 9AM-3PM, Sat 10AM - 3PM, and it is closed on Sunday. Woods Hole Science Aquarium
While you are enjoying our campground near Falmouth, make sure to stop by the Woods Hole Science Aquarium. This local aquarium displays species of marina animals found in Northeast and Mid-Atlantic US waters.The outdoor seal enclosure and indoor aquarium are open Tue - Sat 11AM - 4PM. The best part is admission is free!

There is a whole lot of history in Falmouth! Check our the Woods Hole Historical Museum and explore their exhibits and diverse programs. The museum includes a campus of several buildings housing the exhibits, a workshop, and archival space as well as an active publisher of works of local and historical interest. The galleries are open to the public from June - October.

One of our favorite things about being a campground near Falmouth is the access to their best beaches. Menauhant Beach is the perfect place to spend the day in the water, sun bathing, building sand castles, and even bringing a picnic!
Martha's Vineyard
Nothing screams summer more than a relaxing trip to a little island why camping near Falmouth! Luckily for us, Martha's Vineyard fits the bill! Martha's Vineyard is a small, isolated island located off of Falmouth. Take a day trip and enjoy the island's rich history, vintage charm and high end shopping markets. Highfield Hall & Gardens
Last on our list of things to do in Falmouth, is the Highfield Hall and Gardens. This is not your typical historical estate, it is within glorious old walls, filled with vibrant restored gardens, peaceful walking trails and conservation land. Their summer hours are Tue - Fri from 10AM - 4PM and Sat & Sun from 10AM - 2PM. Plus, they even have special events just for kids!
